Partnership Levels
We offer three levels of partnership for schools and organizations looking to build high-quality, sustainable mastery-based learning models. Whether you’re just starting to explore or ready to launch a full campus, we’re here to support your journey.

Level 1: KSN Member School
Schools at this level receive free access to our open-source resources and public events. We respond to inquiries as capacity allows. This is a light-touch way to engage with our network and explore our mastery-based model.
Level 2: KSN Partner
Schools at this level receive dedicated guidance from our team, priority access to premium resources, and tailored support aligned to their goals. Consulting cost typically starts at $5000 annually.
Level 3: KLS School Partner
Schools at this level launch a Khan Lab School campus in partnership with KSN and KLS, with deep operational oversight and support from us. This level requires significant investment and full alignment with the KLS model. We’re happy to share a budget template to help you explore estimated costs.

Khan Lab School
California, US
Founded in 2014 by Sal Khan, Khan Lab School is a non-profit, mastery-based independent school inspired by The One World Schoolhouse. Starting with just 30 students, it now serves 280 K-12 learners across two campuses in Silicon Valley. Built on the principles of mastery-based learning, student agency, and real-world application, the school reimagines education by moving beyond traditional grade levels and fixed schedules.
Khan Lab School
Wichita Kansas, US
Launched in fall 2024, Khan Lab School Wichita provides a unique avenue for students from 4th to 9th grades to realize their educational aspirations through mastery-based education. Our forward-looking founding vision for the future of education, seamlessly integrating both in-person and online learning is the driving force behind our mission.
Heights Academy
Ohio, US
Heights Academy is a mastery-based elementary school that empowers learners with the foundational knowledge, skills, and values to develop their unique gifts and make meaningful contributions. Guided by core values of Growth, Ownership, Agency, Thankfulness (GOAT), students engage in daily learning experiences to develop the tools, mindsets, and skills to shape their future and lead with purpose in their communities.

The Meliora School
Georgia, US
The Meliora School is a proposed 6th–12th grade public charter school in Gwinnett County, Georgia, grounded in mastery-based learning with a dual focus on entrepreneurship and computer science. Rooted in community design and driven by a belief in every scholar’s potential, Meliora strives to foster innovation, purpose, and leadership in the next generation of changemakers.

With practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard, Khan Academy empowers learners to study at their own pace, both in and out of the classroom. Covering subjects from kindergarten through early college, including math, science, reading, computing, history, art history, economics, financial literacy, SAT, MCAT, and more, Khan Academy focuses on skill mastery to help learners build the strong foundations they need to succeed in higher education and in their careers.
Schoolhouse
Schoolhouse.world is a platform for free, peer-to-peer tutoring–where anyone, anywhere can receive live help, build their skills, and pay it forward by becoming a tutor themselves. Schoolhouse.world reaches learners from over 100+ countries, and is proud to foster a vibrant community of over 15080+ volunteer tutors and 117500+ learners. We’re driven by our mission to connect hundreds of thousands of more learners with safe, equitable opportunities to learn, teach, and grow.
Khan World School at ASUPrep
At Khan World School, students in grades 6–12 work together solving real-world problems in a unique online school model that rewards curiosity, empowers agency and provides students with the skills and confidence needed to excel in college and careers.
